Business Development Representative (Hammer)
The Role:
The Hammer Sales Organization is searching for a highly motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team as a Business Development Representative “BDR”. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our customer base.
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in identifying, qualifying and progressing new business opportunities. Our BDR team works closely with our marketing, sales account directors, solutions engineers and product teams to develop and execute strategies that align with our company goals and build the Hammer customer base.
Hammer is looking for a candidate who has a strong understanding of software sales lead generation within the Carrier Service Provider, Financial sector, Retail, Utilities or Healthcare verticals. The successful candidate must have a proven track record in Business Development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and business development skills, with the ability to effectively convey the value and benefits of our products and services to potential clients.
Responsibilities
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base
· Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential clients
· Conduct market research to identify target industries and companies
· Develop and execute pipeline expansion plans
· Collaborate with internal teams to create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals
· Provide regular reports and updates on pipeline generations in conjunction with the sales operations team.
Requirements
· 2+ years’ experience in a business development role within the software industry.
· Proven lead generation record within the Carrier Service Providers, Financial sector, Retail, Utilities or Healthcare verticals.
· Strong understanding of current technologies and Market trends
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
· Perseverance with strong work ethic
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
· Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.
